Payment and Return Policy

By making a purchase from our store, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Payment:
- Payments must be made in full before the shipment of your order.
- For custom orders, we must receive in advance a 20% deposit for 950 Series and 50% deposit for 1500 to Master Made Series.
2. Returns:
- We accept returns within a 2-week window from the date of delivery.
- To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition, including all original packaging and accessories.
- Any item that is not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return.
- Please contact our customer support to initiate a return. You will be provided with return instructions.
3. Responsibility for Damages and Shipping Fees:
- If the return is for reasons other than defects or damage caused during shipping, you are responsible for the return shipping fees.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service and insuring your return shipment, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
4. Trade-ins:
- Instruments purchased directly from Scott Cao Violins may be traded in for 70% credit towards the purchase of a new, higher model instrument.
